Ian is an Outer Banks native born an raised here on the islands.  He is a graduate of Currituck County High School and a Graduate of The College of the Albemarle with an Associates in Business Management.  Ian is an Eagle Scout from Troop 117 located in Kitty Hawk, NC.  Ian's Eagle Scout Project was an agility course he designed and built for the Currituck County Animal Shelter.

Ian has a certificate of Completion From The North Carolina Home Inspection Training Center for the NC State Pre-Licensing Class and a Certificate of Completion for the required 80 hours of field work.  Ian was raised in a Realtor/Builder family and uses this knowledge and experience daily.   Ian has several NCCER Certificates:  Construction Core Curriculum, Carpentry Level One and Green Environment.  He worked over 3 years on a framing crew.  He has been providing services to home owners and local Realtors since he was 17 years old. Ian also has worked cleaning and servicing pools and spas going on four seasons.

Ian has recently started a family of his own and resides in Kitty Hawk, NC with his fiancee, Caroline Walker and their beautiful daughter, Harper.  Wedding Bells Spring of 2024.
